Description: Avyan Mejdeen is a graduate from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. She majored in political science and global studies with a concentration in international affairs and a minor in interfaith studies. She is a recipient for the 2022-2023 Fulbright ETA award in Kosovo. Along with her recent acceptance to become a Fulbright Scholar, she is a national Dell Scholar, PepsiCo Law Scholar, Beck Redden Law Scholar, LSAC Pre-Law Prep Program participant, and University of Minnesota Pre-Law Scholar. InshAllah (God-willing), in the fall of 2023 she will attend law school and specialize in international human rights law. She is also passionate about immigration, foreign affairs, and women's rights.
