Description: Ahmed Mansour, a New York-based filmmaker, is a NYU Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute – News and Documentary Program – graduate. He is a graduate of programs for outstanding Palestinian leaders in both NYC and Washington DC, a recent Fellow of the Washington Center for Narrative Studies, and an accomplished public speaker with an inspiring personal story of learning the basics of his craft during the 2014 Gaza war. He established the biggest Art Festival called “Peace Message” in 2015 in Gaza, Palestine. He has also worked as a reporter for the Washington Report on the Middle East Affairs in Washington D.C. Ahmed has received residencies and fellowships from Duke University and the Paths to Peace Leadership Program. He’s the MountainFilm’s 2019 Emerging Filmmaker fellow.
