Description: Jesan is a senior at Yale University where he is double majoring in Political Science and South Asian Studies. He has recently finished interning at the Housing Law Clinic of the WilmerHale Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School. At Yale, Jesan is the President of the Yale Pre-Law Society, Founder and President of the Yale Bangladeshi Students Association, Editor of the Yale Journal of Political Thought and is the Team Captain of Yale Rangeela, a Bollywood dance team. Jesan has been the recipient of various awards. Jesan has interned for United States Senator John McCain. He has additionally interned at the Bangladesh Parliament as well as the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Furthermore, he is currently working with Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust  on comparative constitutional law publications and analysis, assisting Rohingya refugee communities from the Rakhine State of Myanmar and working towards establishing an international human rights labor framework.
