Description: Soraya Ahyaudin is graduate student at University of Southern California’s where she is pursuing her second Masters in Public Diplomacy. Soraya previously earned a BComm in Journalism from MARA University of Technology, Malaysia. She worked as an Assistant Registrar at Universiti Sains Malaysia and as an Assistant Director with the Public Service Department of Malaysia before moving to Los Angeles. Soraya is West Coast Regional Director for Coming of Faith, a first of its kind project. She is also a co-founder of ideaLA, an initiative that helps creates awareness, expand networks and empowers minority entrepreneurs, especially high school students, about social entrepreneurship/entrepreneurship. Upon graduation, Soraya hopes to work in the public diplomacy field.UPDATESoraya Ahyaudin is the Director of the American Muslim Civic Leadership Institute at the USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture.
