She works at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she manages a mentoring program for nurse-midwifery students who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). During the 2020-2021 academic year, she served as the teaching assistant for City College of San Francisco's Poetry for the People.
