Description: Sief Salameh (He/Him) is a first-generation Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Illinois at Chicago in Public Policy. Sief served a year and a half as a Case Manager at Arab American Family Services leading a Census and GOTV campaign. Prior to graduating, Sief coordinated the outreach strategies at the first U.S. based Arab American Cultural Center at UIC implementing programs related to civic engagement and Arab & Muslim representation in media. Sief's dedication to public service began when he taught financial literacy and college readiness to inner-city high school students through NEXTGENVEST. Additionally, Sief taught English in Beijing, China; is a Public Policy and International Affairs fellow; an Empower Southwest Fellow; and an Islamic Scholarship Fund member. Sief is currently an MPP candidate at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, researching and studying community-based economics. He spent two consecutive summers working in the U.S. House of Representatives.
