Description: Habon Ali is a second-year student in the Master of Science in Foreign Service at Georgetown University. Her concentration is on global politics and Security with an emphasis on Security and Conflict Management. In her undergraduate, she studied at Georgetown School of Foreign Service with a major in Regional and Comparative Studies with a concentration on women’s advancement and girl’s education. Habon has a passion for women’s rights, international development, and global security. My interest in the public service sector and my passion for Women’s Rights. She looks to champion for the role of women to be at the forefront of development and security apparatus. Habon is interested in expanding my knowledge in understanding global security through advancing human security agenda. She believes that there is a need to develop a national security apparatus that is comprehensive in incorporating human security and civil society to solve the most pressing domestic security problems.
