Description: Aena Khan is a rising senior at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where she is pursuing a major in International Studies, with an emphasis on Migration Studies, and a minor in Arabic Language and Culture. Over the course of her undergraduate career, Aena has served on the Vassar Student Association, wrote for the student-run Miscellany News, and worked with various local organizations on immigration and racial justice issues in the state of New York. Outside of school, Aena has worked for the Council on Foreign Relations, the House Foreign Affairs Committee, and the ACLU. In the future, Aena hopes to attend law school and work on issues related to foreign policy’s domestic implications on immigration and national security.
