Description: Fresh out of high school, Nour flew to San Francisco to escape the political unease in Damascus, and ended up calling San Francisco her second home. She studied Mass Communication and Journalism in the Digital Age at the University of California, Berkeley. She spent her super senior year at the University of the Arts London while interning for the BBC’s Emmy Award winning documentary, Exodus: Our Journey to Europe. She visited a refugee camp during every summer of her college years. She embarked on documenting journeys in Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, and France. Her favorite work experience to date was working at NPR in Washington, DC producing podcasts for How I Built This and touring the nation for HIBT LIVE events. During the pandemic, she switched careers and has since studied and been working in User Experience Design.
