Description: Faisal Hamid is a 2017 Master’s Candidate at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), specializing in international economic policy. Faisal spent the first year of his Master’s program at SAIS-Europe in Bologna, Italy. He earned his Bachelor’s degree at Yale, double-majoring in economics and history. He is currently a Harold Rosenthal Fellow in International Relations and is working in the Office of International Affairs at the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Prior to attending SAIS, Faisal worked for the Executive Vice President of Finance & Administration at the American University in Cairo as part of the Presidential Internship Program. He is an advanced student of Arabic and was involved in the administration of the Zaytuna College Summer Arabic Intensive for two years.
